‘Facial skin care’ is more a matter of routine than anything else. It is also about using the top products that you are able to afford to gain a lovely complexion.

The top salons can advise you on the top beauty care products and regime for your skin type but here’s some tips to get you moving.

A facial skin care routine is what you need ( and you want to follow the facial skin care programme with complete seriousness ).

So let’s check what comprises a good facial skin care routine.

Well, very simply, a facial skin care routine can follow the following 4 steps :

* Cleansing * Toning * Exfoliating * Moisturising

Cleaning is the very first thing in facial skin care routine. Cleansing assists in removing dust, pollutants, grease and additional oil from your skin, so forestalling damage to your skin.

Just spot your neck and face with a good cleansing lotion or cream and carefully massage it into your skin using upward movement. Employ a soft face tissue or cotton wool to wipe your face in a gentle patting fashion (don’t rub). Cleansing should be done at least two times a day i.e. Morning ( as a part of complete facial skin care routine ) and evening (on a standalone basis).

Water-soluble cleansers are recommended for inclusion in your facial beauty care programme.

Toning is the following in a facial skin care programme. However, this is your optional part of the facial skin care programme. Often, proper cleaning can compensate for toning. Toning helps remove all traces of mud, grease and excess cleaner. Rather than making it part of your regular facial beauty care routine, you can using toning sometimes i.e. When you’ve been exposed to especially tough environment/pollution.

Exfoliation is again, sort of, optional step in normal routine for facial skin care. However, exfoliation is necessary one or more times a week ( or twice, depending on your skin type and the environmental conditions ). Exfoliation finds its place in facial skin care routine thanks to the natural bias of skin to replenish the skin cells each three or four weeks.

As a facial beauty care methodology, exfoliation assists in removing the dead skin cells that block the pores, thus aiding the skin in the natural process. However, exaggerated or oppressive exfoliation could cause damage to your skin ; so you want to balance it out.

The following thing in facial beauty care is moisturising.

in reality, moisturising is the most vital part of facial skin care routine. Moisturisers stop your skin from getting dry. Dry skin is truly unattractive since it cause the upper layer skin to break, leading to dead skin cells. Again, use light upward strokes to make the moisturiser more effective. Moisturisers work the best when applied on warm and damp skin.

So don’t try and remove all of the moisture in the prior steps of facial skin care routine.

Besides the ordinary facial skin care routine, you should also exercise the following for facial skin care :

* Use correct make-up remover rather than just washing it away * Pay heed to your skin type and the environment, when choosing facial skin care creams. * Before you start using a new facial skin care product, test it by applying it on a short patch of skin e.g. Ear lobes. * Never rub your skin too hard. * Use sunscreen lotions for defense against sun.

Easy steps that may make all the difference.

Why Being a Cat Owner is Great

Thursday 24 September 2009 @ 1:18 pm
by Rebetta Tyrkera

It is not embarrassing to admit that every person needs someone to accompany him in this journey through life. However, a partner may not always come in the form of a human being. Sometimes, it could be an animal. There is nothing wrong with that because there are some reasons why an animal is a better choice than a human being. They are easy to take care of and do not present a complication. They are also to shower with love and affection, just like what a mother does to her children.

Undoubtedly, pets are known to be good choices when it comes to bonding moments especially if one desires freedom from fellow humans. History has shown that pets are extremely loyal, highly intelligent and responsible in certain chores. And, when compared to humans, they are not clingy and can be left alone for hours or even days. Just leave them some food, water and their other basic needs. Isn’t that a relief to be free from constant attention?

You can choose from a wide selection that is available in the pet store or in the veterinarian’s clinic. There are dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and even exotic animals like albino pythons and tarantulas. Whatever your personality may be, there is always a corresponding pet to fit your judicious needs.

Most people go for domesticated animals like cats and dogs. However, there are certain benefits that a cat can give its owner that a dog can’t. Read on why being a cat owner is great.

First of all, if you own a cat, you will develop the virtue of being prudent. This is due to the fact that you have to be constantly on guard for your pet’s needs. You must make sure that there is an ample supply of cat food and vitamins in the shelf. It is imperative that you also have medications and a first aid kit in case some untoward accident happens to your baby. Then, you must also take into consideration the grooming needs as well as exercise activities so that your pet will not easily fall prey to fleas and other diseases. Initially, they might cramp your lifestyle. Yet in the long run, you will realize that you have gained positive traits along the way.

Second, having a cat will give you a motivation to wake up each day with enthusiasm. This is because you have something to look forward to. You are not merely living for yourself anymore. If previously you lived your day to day activities in a robotic manner, now, you will feel more energized. You will also have another reason for going home early because you are aware that someone awaits your presence. If you feel stressed out from all the tension-filled meeting at the office, playing with your cat is a great way to de-stress.

Third, you gain more friends especially if you join a cat owners club. You get to meet like-minded people who can help you if you have feline problems. If you find it quite a challenge to widen your social network because you feel like you have nothing to share, your common interest with your pet is a surefire way to break the ice. You’ll be surprised at how other people can get passionate when they talk about their adorable kitties.

So there you have it, the reasons why being a cat owner is great. What are you waiting for? Get one now.
